That heart disease and stroke is the #1 cause of premature death of women? That the majority of heart disease clinical research focuses on men?

The Canadian Women's Health Centre is leading the awareness day for this critical life and death issue. The good news is that heart disease is largely preventable through lifestyle, such as being active, healthy eating, quitting smoking and limiting alcohol.

Be kind to your heart, and take a moment to learn more.

A well designed city encourages an active lifestyle, to make it easy and fun for everyone to stay healthy. Our lives depend on it. #Gabrielle4YEG
